Where does the money go?

All funds raised through the 2008 Top Dog Day campaign will go toward breeding and training more Guide Dogs for blind and vision impaired Victorians.

Guide Dogs Victoria (GDV) receives no government funding for the breeding, training and provision of Guide Dogs. 

All of Guide Dogs Victoria's services including training, consultations, Guide Dogs, accommodation, meals and equipment are provided entirely free of charge. The primary aim of all our services is to enhance clients' safety, independence and freedom at every stage of their life's journey.
